BSMimpact “Finalist” for award for Industry Leadership
TM Forum Excellence Awards are the most prestigious award of their kind, and attract nominations from all over the world. With a broad membership of more than 700 companies across 75 countries, TM Forum's Excellence Awards are the only truly impartial awards for the communications industry.
BSMimpact was therefore delighted to be informed that a panel of judges has selected BSMimpact as one of 6 Finalists in this category. This selection is in recognition of the work done by Matthew Burrows and Julian Browning of BSMimpact in helping to define and establish the Integrated Service-Oriented Management (ISOM) Group. ISOM comprises an integrated Roadmap designed to support the transformation of an Information Communications & Telecoms (ICT) organisation towards a Service Management framework. It combines elements such as people, knowledge, skills, training, suppliers, customer business needs/drivers, processes, data, technology and other service/product components. ISOM therefore represents another step in both the convergence of IT and Telecommunications and in the integration of Industry Standards/Best Practices (ITIL, eTOM, ISO/IEC20000) towards a common framework.
BSMimpact has long been active within TMForum in helping to shape the development of Industry Best Practices and Standards. It is therefore pleased to be considered for this award, to be made during the Management World Conference being held in May at Nice.
Regardless of who wins the final award, BSMimpact benefits from its work with TMForum by being able to utilise its thought leadership, applying knowledge and experience to support other TM Forum members, and the wider community of organisations develop their Service Management capability.
